Sorry for the lack of posts here lately – it’s been a crazy week here at work and home! Here’s an interesting design concept….while it clearly has some limitations / flaws, someone was thinking outside the box.

How do you get sleep on this ocean crossing monster when single handed?

There will always be a place in my heart for the Nacra 5.2. It’s the first catamaran I ever owned and the one that brought me the fever for sailing. This kid is still sailing his 5.2 (and pretty well too!) at 65 years of age – Here’s to you!

Will they come back out to play for the next Volvo Ocean Race?
