I was crewing on an H16 Saturday. We were coming back from Cuttyhunk Island in a good 20+ wind, with waves “2 to 4 feet”, some were considerably bigger, and I mentioned my death grip on the jib sheet.Skipper says to let it go, and grab the “sissy line”. Next thing I know I’m wathching the boat do a nice wheely. Never been through that “tea baggin” before. NIce wave caught me at just the right moment…

Did you notice how the skipper wasn’t steering so well during the whipping…Although I think the crew is really hoisting a halyard, he could be looking at the sail wondering why he can’t get it trimmed (he doesn’t realize the skipper is driving erradically).
